Do they smell bad?

Both Eek and Scribble spend more time grooming themselves than my cats. They are both consistently very clean, soft and sweet smelling.

That said, there is quite a lot of variance in their litter box habits. Eek is very good about using her litter to pee. Scribble - as is normal for her species - uses urine to mark her territory, and, therefore, hasn't been compelled to utilize her litter box for pee. She only uses it for her poop. This means that over the span of a week, there is an increasingly ratty smell from Scribble's part of the cage. Not intolerable, but probably something to be addressed before inviting guests over.
